Interview with Buda

1. Today we interview Buda, midfielder from Kaya FC. Talk to us a bit about yourself.

Hi boys ;););) my name is João, I'm 31 years old and I'm from Lisbon, Portugal. For living, I'm a business manager and an entrepreneur. I have 2 companies, one of health services and another of financial consulting. But to be honest, that doesn't matter, when I log on I feel like that I'm back to 2006 and I just want to get a good time.

2. When did you start to play World of Soccer and how did you find it?

The first time I played World of Soccer was on April 10th and if you guys wonder who you should blame, it's Ladislau. He told me that the game was coming back with regular updates and that the guy behind it was Joneh, so I had to give it a try.

3. You've been in Kaya FC for a while now, what are the main differences between Kaya FC and other teams?

Well, in WOS I only knew one team, so I really can't reply 100% accurate but I can give you an answer based on my experience on other teams from Netsoccer. It's all about the friendship that we have in our team. I know that if I log on at 8pm and leave at 12 pm, I'm going to laugh 4 hours straight.

4. We've heard that most players in FC Kaya are friends in real life. Could you tell us about it?

Yes, it's true kaya exists for a long time, I think it's since 2006. The games that we played died, but we always kept in touch trough socials and because of that we developed a true friendship. We had some meetings and some of us got to know each other. I don't know that many, but we are going to make a dinner at the end of Covid and hopefully I will meet everybody (except Pombo, ty). For instance, I will be with Nasser on the 17th of this month, so it's a thing that sometimes happens between members of our team.

5. One question many people ask, why do some FC Kaya players write so much on CAPS LOCK?

REALLY? I NEVER NOTICED!! :) Jokes aside, it's an old costume, because actually Nasser is a bit blind, and we like him to be able to read all our conversations.

6. Are there any players you specially like to play with? Or any player you would like to play with in the future?

I love to play with all my fellow Kaya friends except Pombo and SnOwS. But to be honest, there are some guys that I would like to play someday… Lazarz, Canubio, Vul, Manfias and Barney are a few examples. I'm in a "Portuguese project" and for now it's impossible but I hope someday we can figure out a solution. Kaya International perhaps? ;);)

7. Do you or your team use discord while playing ranked matches? How much do you think it affects your team game?

Yes, always, and I think that is the "problem". We just can't stop laughing. Maybe if we were more focused we could play a bit better, who knows.

8. Who are the hardest midfielders to face on your side of the field? And why?

Without a single doubt Lazarz, the guy is just op. Always marking man on man, 0 space for me to attack. But there are others such as vul and quaresma, who I don't really need to say anything, the names speak for themselves. They are just lethal in front of goal, they manage to score from angles that you don't expect.

9. Which are your predictions for the Official League? And if you had to guess which position your team will end, what would it be?

I think that The Shield got this once again. I really don't want to guess since we are the type of team that if we have 20 players on our team, the 20 players will play for league, so it's a bit hard to make a competitive 5.

10. What attracts you the most in the game? And any ideas you would like to see implemented on the game?

The thing that attracts me the most is that it is such a simple game at first sight, but then, it is so complicated and have so much to master. And when you think you are already fine, you will match against someone better than you and realize that you still need to improve. That and the fact that we can make real friends and play football. Is there anything to dislike in this game? No.

11. Now 3 direct questions. The best midfielder on the game? The hardest defender to play against? The best player on the game?

Lazarz - As I said before, he marks the opposition too tight, 0 space to attack, and he is lethal in front of goal.

Manfias - Representing Portugal in the defense, he's too op, 100% accuracy on his tackles. Imo, he's tied with Nani, one of the best defenders of all time.

Canubio - He has a style of play where he is always on the edge of the defense line, is lovely to watch since he can always get the ball and score. Just amazing!

12. Can you share with us a game or an episode that happened in WoS that marked you or that will be hard to forget?

Every time SnOwS gets the possession of the ball is always an episode to remember and I'm not trying to mess with him. This is really the truth, we never know what the hell is about to happen!

13. Do you have any message you would like to share with the rest of the community or someone in particular?

Yes, I would like to ask the community to call people who were once hooked on this type of game. We all know someone that played this game or the other one xD and if we could call one new guy per active player we would have a more active and better game.
